UNIFORM COMMUNICATIONS, MEDIA AND MOTION PICTURE STATISTICAL DATABASE HUN

From the menu on the left, you may choose the chapter you wish to query data from.

The ‘Definitions’ and ‘Sources’ menu items can be accessed for the selected chapter following your search, and contain the definitions and sources used for the chapter.

Once you have made your selection, the ‘Active tables’ will be displayed on the right, with the ‘Inactive tables’ shown underneath. The active tables feature the most recent data registered, while the inactive ones refer to closed tables no longer being updated with new data. The title of the table selected for querying is displayed in a different colour.

One you have selected a table, you will need to choose an ‘Indicator’. You may select multiple indicators using the left mouse button. To select several consecutive indicators, use the 'SHIFT’ key. The 'CTRL' key allows you to select multiple non-consecutive indicators using the left mouse button.

Once you have selected the indicators, by pressing the ‘QUICK QUERY’ button all the data for the indicators selected will be displayed in a table below. You may narrow down the displayed results by filtering according to year with the ‘Select years’ field. To select several consecutive indicators, use the 'SHIFT’ key. The 'CTRL' key allows you to select multiple non-consecutive indicators using the left hand mouse button.

To display data from multiple tables within a chapter or from multiple chapters, press ‘ADD’ once you have selected the table, indicator and years. This will display the indicators pertaining to the table in a separate box underneath the selection fields. Repeat this step for all tables and indicators to be queried. Once you have selected all tables and indicators, press ‘RUN’ to display all tables separately below the fields.
You may remove indicators from your search by clicking the red X next to the indicator. Press ‘RUN’ again if you have deleted an indicator to remove the deselected indicator data from the table(s).

The ‘Print table’ button will display the search results in a new window, allowing easy printing.

You can export the data for the selected indicator to an Excel table using the 'EXPORT (.XLSX)' button or generate a graph using the ‘GRAPH’ button. By placing your cursor on the columns of the graph, the application will display the quantitative values for each column.
